the erosion bundle project

I saw the end product of this project last spring
and caught up with it again here :

the idea is to create an artistic bundle of paper/ fabric etc

then hang or place it outside somewhere ...

and wait to see what nature does with it !

you retrieve the bundles in April

then have 'til August to create a piece of art from the results

my bundles are tucked behind my Clematis & Jasmine

which climb over the old blue shed.

  1. How interesting. It will be nice to see how the weather changes things and time. It must be nice to have a long term project

  3. I love what you've put inside your bundles. Mine are pretty similar but couldn't show everything. I have rusty hearts and lots of nature bits and papers of all types and fabrics and things that will hopefully colour run a little ... isn't it exciting!

  5. how very interesting! I can not wait to see what you will have come up with, after nature had its way with the bundles. Seems like such a long time until August. Just saying that month's name gives me a warm sunny feeling all over, something I can use today with new snow falling as I write and it very cold out there.

  6. So does this mean you're going to put Billy behind the shed and let him erode?!! Run Billy, run!

Can you do this with naughty children?... please?! These bundles look so lovely as they are it almost seems like sacrilege to do that to them. I do agree with Tracey tho', you're definitely an arty-nutty-moo!!

  14. Naughty thieving kittens? Er yes Billy, she does mean you! I'd hide if I was you!

Yes the Spartans left their children to the elements. If they survived they were brought up as warriors. If not... er, they weren't!
