a dress for June

My June dress for the calendar dresses
http://aliceandcamilla.blogspot.com/
is to wear to a summer wedding.

The background is made from a birthday card

I received from

a good friend...

and the wording on it was about true friendship.

The sash is made from a delicate serviette

my mum wrapped my birthday present in -

so pretty & compliments the dress perfectly

Background, a wedding card I bought for a friend

but gave her a homemade one instead.

pop over to Alice and Camilla to see more

wonderful dresses

  2. Usually I like to make my dress before I go out "looking" but couldn't help myself ... Love how you've repurposed special items Penny and turned them into a Cinderella dress ... oh so lovely!!!

  8. Penny, your dress is so elegant! I love your colour choice and I'm also a real fan of the transluscent effect the serviettes give to a piece, very classy! Margaretx
