Some images from my fabric journal
made during Kiwi Carole's Tutorial.
It's not finished yet
& I'm having a creative crisis.
So I 'm going to make a series of cards
based on what I've learned here.
Thank you Carole
You are a great teacher
( sorry if we messed around in class ! )

Beautiful work Penny! hate to say it but you really do produce some fab stuff in a crisis! I love the texture with the lacy bits, love it! Mx
ReplyDeleteI'm with Margaret on this one, you have some really fab work here! I'm so pleased you could do this class, and I didn't notice all that drunken frivolity at all! LOL :)) x
ReplyDeletewhat a gorgeous book, I bet Carole is a great teacher! now I have found your ART blog, I will be tuning in!!! ciao bella!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love the fabrics and everything about it. You are one very creative lady. Have a really fun weekend.
ReplyDeleteI like what you've done with your pages. I'm better at making the book structure and the covers, but always seem to get stumped on the insides. I hope you're finding your way through your creative crisis; I always love seeing your beautiful work. from Over-the-Pond Penny
ReplyDeleteI somehow managed to miss this - glad I've found it now cos it's wonderful. Love the textures and colours, really beautiful. Crisis? What crisis?! x
ReplyDeleteGreat creation. I love the glimpses that you have shown here. I find the colors to be so serene.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pages Penny.
ReplyDeleteI loved them when I saw them on the class blog, but they seem to look even lovelier here on the un-cluttered background.
I really like your use of gesso and also your restrained touch. You have a wonderful light touch with your stamping.
Take care
Shane
They remind me of memory books I use to make years ago! They are stunningly beautiful - you should be making them to sell! ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour book is a delight. I love all those natural tones and layers. Very beautiful indeed :o) Well done. I'm still working on mine too x
