The Linen Shelf
had been dusted & aired.

I know these jobs should be done in the Spring
but I love Autumn
& get a lot done.

I've been sorting & clearing  like mad.

I've just spent some time in Brighton
and went to the art fair
where I particularly liked the work of

Emma Franks

and was inspired to
make something,
so today  today I cut out some flowers...

cut from the pages of an old book of  poetry.
The stained muslin
is left over from
The Erosion Bundle Project
& the coffee stained paper
making my fabric journal.

Yesterday, I bought some chalks.

I don't know what to do yet
but at least it's a start.

  1. Welcome back! Post number 200 eh? Love the little flowers made from poetry and like you I feel that autumn is the beginning of a new year so a perfect time for sorting out.

  2. I'm lovin' those colours already! Good to hear you've been inspired to open up the Linen Shelf.

  3. Great to see the Linen Shelf is open again!
Love the flowers and muslin...great colours.
    Hugs xx

  5. Hi Penny, why haven't I been a regular visitor here? I can't imagine. Love your flowers and can't wait to see what becomes of them. Love it here. pen x

  6. I love the flowers and the composition! Welcome back!

  7. I love the Autumn also and like yourself have been clearing out things. I find that when I am organized I can concentrate on creating much better... :-)

  8. fantastic you're back! I thought you'd gone off somewhere else, did I imagine that?? anyway, fab that the Linen Shelf is here again! mx

  9. Hi Penny .... I'm having to really push through to create too .... Some days it's like quicksand .... Other days it's easy. I love what you made with the poetry pages - anything with words on it and I'm in love ....

Here's to more of the easy days ......:)
