september dress

My dress for September
celebrates the onset of Autumn
and the lovely Hydrangea flowers changing colour
& drying out.
***
I printed the word Hydrangea in Edwardian script
& added its definition from my plant encyclopedia.
***
Over this I pasted white tissue paper
which I'd stampedwith a lovely pattern.
I gave the bodice extra ink
& another layer of rushed tissue paper.
Finally added some petals & lace & a touch of sparkle.

  5. Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers and the variety of colors you get from them is always so stunning. You have created a real beauty here, as fall begins to show its colors. The petals and lace add that special touch that sets off this stunning dress.
