This is what I made for Jane,
her theme being,
Seaside / Coast.
The image is from a book
of 100 years of seaside entertainment.
The driftwood & flowers
from the beach & clifftop where I live.
Shells from an old necklace
& tiny bunting I made from vintage paper.
On the back I've written...
" Emily begged her governess
to allow her to bathe,
having spent a long morning
collecting shells and flowers"
I wonder if Emily got her way !
My theme is Angels
and this lovely sparkly, lacy
clothes peg Angel
was made for me by
Gina.
Thank you Gina,
she's beautiful.
Pop over to Postman's Knock
to see all the other postcards.
What a lovely seaside themed work Penny. The driftwood frame is such a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI get so envious when I see all these swaps, but I haven't a creative bone in my body.
Penny, you are certainly giving and receiving the most wonderful work!! gorgeous! love the subtle colouring so much! Mx
ReplyDeleteLoved your seaside postcard - bunting off the driftwood, inspired! Sweet image, and oh dear, the beachwear!! No muffin tops, tattoos, or lobster legs on display - maybe those old gals weren't so silly after all......!
ReplyDeleteGina's angel is lovely, with that perfect poem.
