  2. Not too keen on the bears, either, but I like your choice!

We have a Peruvian beanbag one which I get out on Christmas Eve, to add to the Advent one.

  4. To answer your previous post's question, we had (mom still has, I'm sure) a traditional, plaster figured nativity. The figures are all very detailed and looked classically Italian. The set I have now is a cheapy, Made in Japan set based on those classic figures only my kids have played with it, one of the kings loses his head very year (and needs regluing) and carolers get mixed in with the shepherds. haha!

I love your displays here! Great variety of materials and styles! And your snowfall is very serene. aaahhhhhhhh! Will you have chestnuts roasting, closer to Christmas? Spiced apple cider? Mulled wine, perhaps? I'll visit often! :)

  7. love of each of these that you shared. I was in a gift shop on Saturday and saw the most unusual nativity...it appeared to be Russian Orthodox...brightly colored and amazing art! :)
