I've been experimenting with the TAP
( Artist Transfer Paper )
my image is from a little statue in the farmhouse
I stayed in
on a retreat in Greece.
It always prints out pink ...
but I love it !
so do I use it as the middle page
or with pages in between ?
I like the way shown above.
I'm not so fond of it printed onto Calico
I prefer it printed straight onto the dyed watercolour pages
of our journals.

I'm really enjoying Kiwi Carole's course...
she keeps accusing us of drinking rum in class
I have NO IDEA where she gets that idea from...
Hic !

WOW! I love this transfer!! You've made a great job of making it look aged and distressed!! I know you did that on purpose, and of course I love the pink tinge :))
ReplyDeleteI love it Penny! Where is this class with copious rum drinking! I will some of that (or a lot!) Suzie xxxx
ReplyDeleteLOL hiccup in deed ;)
ReplyDeletelovely little statue with fond memories attached too! I cannot wait to see more of your pages! I really like the TAP a lot and have a couple of pages on my bbb this morning too!
Happy Friday!

Oh these are fabulous!!! I just got my TAP today and can't wait to try it out! Marva
ReplyDeleteI love your pink tinged little statue Penny - you've done a great job considering all that rum! Have you seen my Genie anywhere ........
ReplyDeleteLovely work Penny. I tried the "rouge" yesterday. If you get a little on your finger and run it along the wet edge of a piece of paper, it makes a nice "aged" edge. Thank you :o)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I missed class the day we had rum!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat transfer Penny, I also had success with this paper, I can't believe I didn't know about it earlier! so much easier than liquid transfers. Mx
